Method
How we measure.
Two views, one true measurement.
Trust here is not a logo board or a follower count. It is whether an outsider can recompute what we claim — and catch us if we lie later.
In plain words
What this shop is
PARALLAX publishes free Bitcoin research findings in full, and sells sealed datasets underneath them. We run our own full archival node. We parse raw blocks ourselves. We do not resell raw dumps, price predictions, or exchange labels.
Published pseudonymously. No account required to buy. No email list.
The standard
Four rules before anything ships
Measured twice
No finding ships on a single code path. A second, independent pass must agree. Controls that must be able to fail travel with the claim.
Our own data
Numbers come from raw block files on our archival hardware — not a rented API that can go dark or rewrite history.
Re-derivable or it does not ship
If an outsider cannot reconstruct a figure from what we hand them, we do not publish the figure.
Retractions get equal billing
When we kill our own claim, the correction runs as prominently as the original. A record that only grows is marketing, not research.
Seals
Why files beat faith
Every sealed dataset ships a manifest, a root hash, an OpenTimestamps proof bound to
Bitcoin, and verify.py that recomputes digests and re-derives published
figures from the delivered files alone.
Free samples, the manifest, the root, the OTS receipt and the verifier are downloadable before you pay. Four-step verify guide →
File hash
Catches a byte changed after sealing.
Column digests
Catches value swaps that keep file size.
Root recomputed
Catches a doctored manifest.
Figures re-derived
Catches a forged headline with a matching root.
What we will not sell
Hard limits
- No price predictions or trading signals.
- No exchange labels / clustering presented as fact — published accuracy is too poor.
- No raw chain dumps — free elsewhere; we sell embedded research work.
- No uptime SLA — residential power; that is why the product is files.
